Fiction as a spell,
writing as memory.

A voice between the real and the fantastic. Dark romance, emotional realism and an introspective eye for what usually goes unsaid: grief, rebirth, solitude, and the feeling of not belonging.

Á de Ámara,
B de Bruja

A is for Ámara, B is for Witch

A world where magic is not a gift, but an act of resistance.

Anarella has spent her whole life hidden among whispering trees, protected by an ancient spell that kept her safe from the world… and from herself. She is an Ámara: a witch whose magic is born of light and care, not combat. She knows nothing of power games, of war, or of the darkness spreading beyond the forest.

Until the Theodosian regime finds her.
Until they condemn her for existing.
Her execution fails. Fate does not.

Read the full synopsis

Forced to flee, Anarella crosses the borders of the kingdom of Bizhonte, a land of masks and secrets where nothing (not allies, not enemies, not desire) is what it seems. Amid conspiracies, persecuted hybrid witches and broken promises, she is caught in a triangle of power, passion and betrayal that will make her question everything.

But the greatest danger awaits in Mirandel, the enchanted forest where the original Wand lies: an ancient artefact capable of saving the continent… or plunging it into eternal night. To reach it, Anarella must give up who she was (the healer, the protected one, the fugitive) and embrace what has always lain dormant within her.

Even if that means embracing fire, shadow, desire.
Even if it means burning.

A novel about women who no longer hide. About witches who heal… and destroy. About the light that redeems and the darkness that empowers. Because when magic is a sentence and love a threat, all that's left is to resist.

Who Is Mrs. Jenkins?

On the night a private psychiatric clinic in the Scottish Highlands burned to the ground with its patients still inside, eighteen-year-old Eloise Grossom lost her memory. Fifteen years later, someone is determined to make her remember.

My first novel in English, based on La señorita Jenkins, the play I presented at Microteatro in Madrid in 2017. Coming soon on Amazon & Kindle Unlimited.

02 About Alex

A voice between the real and the fantastic

Theatre, magic and literature.

I was born in Caracas, into a family with Italian roots, and at twenty I emigrated to Spain. That move transformed the way I understand life, loss and identity, and it's where my writing comes from: migration, grief, uprootedness, rebuilding yourself, and searching for meaning in the middle of the dark.

I'm drawn to the borders between the human and the spiritual. I want words to open spaces of awareness and to touch the subjects that so often stay silent: death, rebirth, violence, mourning, loneliness, spirituality and the sense of not belonging. My stories blend dark romance, emotional realism and a deeply introspective sensibility.

Before devoting myself fully to literature, I trained in playwriting and screenwriting in Madrid and Barcelona. I've been writing novels and stories my whole life; now I'm finally sharing that literary universe with the world.

Las mujeres son del bosque

Women Belong to the Forest · Book I: Magic and Chaos

What makes a woman a witch? Where does magic begin? What do we refuse to accept as real, for fear of brushing against madness?

The first book of the trilogy: a psychological novel of magical realism and mystery, set in the present day and largely in Cersuta, a village in Maratea, southern Italy. When her grandmother falls ill, Alana follows a call she can't explain, back to her family's house, her legacy and the magic she has spent her whole life hiding.

Read the full synopsis

The life of Alana, the protagonist, is overshadowed by her grandmother's illness, which drives her to make sudden decisions: to recover the house that once belonged to her family, to keep its legacy alive, to reconnect with her origins, and to follow an apparent calling, something beyond her understanding that forces her to acknowledge what she had always tried to hide and now recognises as magic.

The call will lead Alana to uncover family secrets kept veiled all her life, to face death in all its forms, to witness unusual events and, finally, to meet a mysterious woman who will help her recognise the potential within her, as in all the women who are born of, and come from, the forest.

La magia y el caos explores real themes such as death, grief, loss and love, along with aspects of the spiritual world that will resonate with anyone who reflects on the existence of planes and universes that remain invisible to our eyes.
